My bestie plus I have had a little trip planned for the past 2 months.
The trip is planned for this weekend.
The two of us are going into the wine country. The two of us are going to stay in a bed-and-breakfast plus try out all of the wine from the valley! I have some tours arranged this weekend with many odd locations on Saturday plus two more on Sunday. I have been telling my boss for quite a few weeks about the trip. I put in my request two months ago to have off Saturday plus Sunday, but when the new schedule came out the other day, I was surprisingly scheduled for a gas furnace repair task on Saturday. I immediately headed over to the office to talk about the schedule with my boss. He tried to tell me there was no other HVAC workers to work on the commercial gas furnace repair task. I told him that I already had reservations plus all of my plans were totally non-refundable. He tried to persuade me to stay, but I didn’t budge on this thing. Then he tried to threaten me. I wasn’t going to work on Saturday regardless of what he did. My bestie plus I already had plans plus she would be severely disappointed if I cancelled our weekend away just for a commercial gas furnace repair. I certainly know there are quite a few other HVAC employees that could work on Saturday. I don’t really know why my boss thinks the task has to be taken on by me. There are a ton of other employees that work for this Heating as well as A/C company that can easily take on a commercial gas furnace repair. Someone will have to take the task, but it definitely will not be me this weekend.
