During the months of October, November, plus December, the days are extremely long when I am working. Between the chilly air plus actual daylight savings time, it feels basically like the sun is only up for a few hours at the most… Most days I am up before the sun… I hardly ever get any sort of chance to eat breakfast, because I pretty much always sleep through the alarm. I’ve tried a hundred odd things, however I can’t seem to wake up when the alarm is sounding. On Tuesday, I was absolutely working on call. I managed to pick up a task request at 4 in the very early morning hours. I was sent out to a residential beach property for a furnace repair drawback. The customer called us in the middle of the night. I responded to the request plus I left my property at approximately 4:15. I arrived at the customer’s property just as the sun was peeking over the horizon. It was actually incredibly chilly inside of the property plus I felt entirely bad for the seasoned woman who answered the door. I worked as fast as possible to find a solution to the furnace drawback. I walked up plus down the stairs a dozen times. I had to replace multiple odd parts on the furnace to get things to task correctly. I finished with the repair around eight in the morning. The customer was a truly nice older lady who actually offered to make me some pancakes for breakfast. I kindly refused, however I thought it was lovely for her to offer such a thing. If I didn’t have multiple other jobs already on the schedule, I might have sat down with her for a little while.
