Arrived late at the job, working overtime all week

You never know when traffic is going to be absolutely horrible in this city.

Some days it’s perfectly fine and other days it will hold you up for hours. This is a big problem for me as someone who has to drive back and forth two different jobs for my daily work. I’m not the sort of person who just commutes in the morning and then sits in an office all day. Instead, getting to the office is the first challenge of several transportation treks. After that, I go from home to home repairing heating and cooling systems for local residents. In general, I enjoy being a professional heating, cooling, and air quality control specialist. However, there are days when I feel like I’m fighting a losing battle because of the unpredictable traffic conditions. Recently, this was the case when I left one difficult heating and cooling repair job and ran into a massive traffic backup on my way to another HVAC service. Unfortunately, my team of fellow heating and cooling technicians was waiting for me at the next air quality control repair job. When I showed up over an hour late to the HVAC installation everyone was extremely angry with me. Not only did they harass me for the rest of the day while we tried to complete the indoor air handling device installation, but the punishment went on for the rest of the week. I have been stuck working the overnight emergency HVAC shift ever since my tardy arrival at the heating and cooling installation job. The sleepless nights really aren’t helping me to handle this traffic, either.
