I found a coupon for the tune-up on my HVAC unit

I always have a tune-up on my HVAC unit.

  • I absolutely think that the service is helpful.

The machine runs better and the bills are always lower after a tune-up. I have the tune-up performed in the spring, before the outdoor weather is hot and humid. I live in part of the country where the outdoor temperatures are always extremely hot and humid during the summer months. It is not uncommon for the average summer temperatures to top three digits. The humidity can be even worse and the moisture in the air can cause problems for your home and the indoor air quality. The last thing I want is to wake up in the morning without cool air, so I think the tune-up is a very important part of annual maintenance. This year, I found a coupon for the tune-up. The coupon was from a different HVAC provider, but I talked my service provider into accepting the coupon and honoring the price tag. Instead of spending $129 for the routine examination, I only spent $89 for the entire HVAC tune up. During the routine tune up, the technician checked all of the mechanical, electrical, and temperature related parts. The technician also checked the levels of our refrigerant. I didn’t need any refrigerant, but during the tune up, I found out that my HVAC unit uses the old refrigerant that will no longer be available next year. The HVAC technician told me that I do not need to worry about the problem now, but it is definitely something that I should think about in the future.
