When I was looking to buy a home with my wife, I realized that I had to learn more about HVAC.
I didn’t know much about heating or cooling systems and I felt that I wouldn’t know if I was making a good choice on a home because I didn’t have a clue about these HVAC systems that were installed.
I figured the most important things about houses were the structural integrity, the roof, and the HVAC system. So I learned about different types of HVAC systems like geothermal HVAC systems, heat pumps, ductless HVAC systems, and even radiant heating. I was able to learn which systems were highly energy efficient and how these systems have improved a great deal over the years. At the end of the day, I realized that it would be best to have an HVAC as new as possible and that would provide the best efficiency for heating and cooling our home. We ended up finding this house that actually had a geothermal HVAC system installed. I was really excited when I learned about this and I couldn’t wait to see how well it worked. I have to tell you, that geothermal heat pump really does a great job with both heating and cooling. We decided to buy the place because I figured there was no way I was ever going to afford a geothermal HVAC installation down the road, and this was my chance to have such a fantastic HVAC system. These HVAC systems last for a very long time with minimal maintenance needs, which I love. Also the energy bills are so low because these are easily the most energy efficient HVAC systems around!
