As this heat energy moves out, it takes some of the moisture in the air with it
While the uneven temperatures haven’t hit their Summer highs, the steep humidity levels have shown up early outside. This region is pretty infamous for the level of heat plus humidity my friend and I get in the Summer. That’s why you don’t see a ton of tourist heading down here like they do in the Winter. But who can blame them? I’d much rather turn my back on snow, ice plus a gas boiler to come down here plus care about the best winter season weather ever, and coming down here in the teeth of the Summer would include far too much air conditioning for me. Yet when you’re a native to this region, the humidity is just part of it. Thankfully, the heat pump plus the cooling comfort it produces for us in the Summer also takes care of the humidity, however when you reach for the temperature control when the heat pump is cooling mode, it starts the air conditioning process. And this process is started off by moving heat energy from one locale to another, however namely, moving the heat energy out of the apartment where it is tired through the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C lodgeet next to the house. This is why this Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C technology is called a heat pump. It’s pumping heat energy either out of the apartment with the cooling process, but or, it’s pumping heat energy into the apartment from the ambient air outside the apartment for heating. As this heat energy moves out, it takes some of the moisture in the air with it. And then, the cooling air that replaces that moved out heat further dries out the air to leave crisp, cool indoor air.
