This week is a day of rest for my vocal chords as last evening my associate and I played music in our band for about three hours.
I need to rest my voice today as well as also rest my shoulders because I drummed a lot last evening while in those three hours.
I also taught a volleyball student for an hour before my associate and I played music, so needless to say, my shoulders are a bit sore from all the commotion. My associate and I are going to play more acoustical music because it is a nonstop battle with the cops when my associate and I play with amplified sound. The local company owners in some venues are cheerful when my associate and I play, like the Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier, but other owners are not so pleased. I know this is a battle that has gone on for decades as well as will constantly be, as some people don’t care for music as much as us music lovers do. Anyway, today is Friday as well as my associate and I will rest as well as regroup tomorrow to play again. I know tomorrow my associate and I will play in another neighborhood for this modern supplier as well as see how it goes over there with the police. I just don’t like playing each time thinking that my associate and I are going to get stopped again, it particularly takes away from the performance when you have to worry about getting arrested or stopped. My heating tech buddy was playing a year ago as well as the cops came as well as took all of his equipment as well as never gave it back, which is a sin considering he paid thousands of dollars for it all. I would still be crying if that happened to me.
