My friend eventually learned his lesson, began to implement energy-saving measures, and replaced his inefficient heating system. He stopped using his air conditioner as frequently during the summer and enrolled in a Heating and Air Conditioning maintenance plan. After implementing these modifications, his energy costs became more manageable and he was able to recover from his financial setback.
