I needed to learn more about heating equipment, but it was a good start
I was having one of those days where everything seemed to be against me. I woke up late because, during the night, my furnace kept rattling, which had kept me up for several hours. After realizing I was late, I jumped into the shower only to realize there was no hot water. Though the electric heater was on, I could hardly feel the warmth. I needed to call the heating company when I got to the office. My car had a puncture, so I called a taxi, and don’t mention the traffic build-up. When I arrived at the office, I wished to return home and finish the day. After settling in at work, I went for a coffee, the only thing I was looking forward to. As I waited for the coffee maker, I overheard conversations among some of my older colleagues. Kevin was talking about his HVAC installation troubles. He talked about calling the heating dealership for heater maintenance, and they responded promptly. Kevin’s heating device exhibited similar symptoms to mine, only that I had not pieced them together as he had. I realized that the tell signs had been there longer. Pretty touché that I learned more about heating in the office kitchen. Kevin called the heating specialist who handled the heater repair, the HVAC professional diagnosed the unit with dirty filters and an overheating blower motor. I requested Kevin’s contact information for the same local HVAC company since my unit also needed the same service. My day got better after that morning. I scheduled for help with indoor comfort and was sure I would enjoy quality heating that evening. I needed to learn more about heating equipment, but it was a good start. I had to implement new heating rules that the heating technician advised me on to ensure my system worked optimally. The heating specialist also had my fireplace fired up, which was something I had not been able to do for a year and always ignored.
