Sometimes things just work out by sheer luck.
And this was the case when my central heating and air conditioning system unit broke down in the middle of one of the worst heat waves we have had in ages.
What the luck was in all of this is the fact that I had a few portable air conditioning systems sitting in the closet that I had bought on sale in the past year. And because these are the new and more modern portable air conditioning systems, they had the massive power to cool the entire living room as well as the bedroom! So in turn, I did not have to go and spend a ton of money on a hotel for the night. The portable air conditioning systems were able to keep my house cool as if the central heating and air conditioning system did not even break down! It was kind of like having two window air conditioning units in my house going in the living room as well as the bedroom. I then the next day called the local heating and air conditioning company to have them send out a certified heating and air conditioning specialist to repair my central heating and cooling system unit. It all worked out very well in the end. I did not have to spend money on the hotel stay and I did not have to pay double for the heating and air conditioning system repair by needing their emergency heating and cooling home services. This folks is why it is very important to have portable heating and air conditioning equipment around the house!
