I’m a big fan of supporting local businesses whenever possible.
I appreciate the service provided by small, local businesses, and would rather give my money to an independent mom and pop shop than a major corporation any day.
As such, I always shop around for the nearest and most highly rated businesses before I entering into a contractual agreement with anyone. I know my purchasing process takes a little additional time, but the high quality customer service and product guarantees that I find are worth the extra effort. Recently, I’ve been working hard to locate the best HVAC company in the region. There are over 35 certified heating and cooling contractors in the area, and they feature a wide range of specialities and user ratings. It’s been difficult to sort through them, looking for the business that most closely matches my personal needs, and I’m totally burnt out on perusing HVAC websites; at a certain point, I’ve found that every ventilation specialist starts to sound the same. I’ve called many of the shops, ranking them by the time it took for my call to be answered as well as the quality of customer service I received. I’ve also requested to speak to their heating and cooling specialists with a set of pre-chosen HVAC questions, grading their responses for knowledgeability and attention to detail. I’ve received a wide range of answers, and created a tiered ranking system for AC and furnace inquiries. So far I haven’t found the heating and cooling shop of my dreams, but I’m confident that my future HVAC company exists.
