I was not easily happy when my boss informed everybody that my pal and I would be going on a weekend retreat together.
She wanted the entire team to attend so that my pal and I could build trust in addition to communication skills, however apparently, she did not believe that my pal and I could learn to get along in the office so she had to plan some elaborate trip for us to torture ourselves with.
I wish that I could say that the trip turned out to be better than expected, but truthfully it was just as miserable as I anticipated. When my pal and I first arrived at the rental home I was a bit surprised to find out that it was a central heating, cooling, in addition to air quality control system that would be supplying all of the indoor air quality control. Apparently, they did not invest in zone control heating or cooling measures for the house. I wish that they had installed two separate mini split ductless heating in addition to cooling systems like you would experience in a hotel, so that everybody could establish their own number one indoor air quality control settings in their private room. Instead, my pal and I were supposed to cooperate to find one control machine setting that would make everybody happy, however you know that that was impossible. Half of the home wanted to use air conditioning in addition to the other half of the home was still ready for the furnace to be engaged. My great friend and I wound up figuring for the entire weekend, properly fighting in front of the control machine as my pal and I tried to receive control of the heating, cooling, in addition to air quality control system. After our “team building retreat” half of the office quit.
