The thing that they did to make a cooling system of some form before there was absolutely window a/cs plus central heating plus a/cs was by putting dry ice in a bucket or tub plus pouring water over it. This of course would not in a million years be able to combat the heat in the desert. But in those nights most people did not live in that section of the world. It worked to keep people alive when it would get super tepid where they were at. And that part was great. I could not imagine having to make your own cooling system like that. I would personally never be able to live with dry ice as a cooling system because it would never be enough cooling for what our bodies are used to plus need this week in terms of cooling system. They did have tepid water boilers for heating though, which was more or less the same as it is now. However, with a cooling system the dry ice was all that they had. I would honestly hate to live back then in those times without the true plus real cooling system that my pal and I have this week plus even the more primitive forms of cooling system my pal and I had with the heating plus cooling technology that existed when I was growing up 40 some years ago. Thinking about this whole dry ice for cooling system thing actually makes me honestly appreciate this week’s advanced heating plus cooling system technology!

I could not believe it when we had a very hard rainstorm about a month ago and it rained so hard that it actually shorted out my central heating and air conditioning unit! I had always wanted to get a gas fireplace in my home.

And I finally went out and bought one.

This is my very first gas fireplace ever. I used to have an electric fireplace and I also used to have an authentic real fireplace back when I was growing up. Or, rather, my parents did. But now getting this gas fireplace I am very excited and happy about it. With this gas fireplace I actually like it much better than the electric fireplace I used to have. It looks so much better with the real nice looking blue flame. The electric fireplace had no real fire in it. It was more or less just an oversized space heater. Not very nice at all. Sure it kept the living room warm as an alternative to having to run the central heating and air conditioning system’s heater, but it was no fireplace! This gas fireplace is actually a fireplace at least. And I really love the great essence that it gives my home and my living room. The only thing with this type of fireplace is that you have to be careful with it and take extra care of it. Because when you are dealing with gas there could be some dangers which I am well aware of. This is why I learned all about gas fireplaces before I even bought this one. But once I knew that I understood what needed to be done and all, I went out and bought the gas fireplace. And I have to say that I know I will be very happy with it as the months go on!

One thing I always wonder is if smart thermostats can get even better.

I mean we are at the major threshold of heating and air conditioning technology even having something like a smart thermostat in the very first place.

However, by improving on the smart thermostat and making it even more advanced, who knows how much better or good it could get? The way that heating and air conditioning technology keeps advancing you never can actually tell if a smart thermostat is going to come out tomorrow that makes the current smart thermostat look ancient and old. Regardless, even if they do not make smart thermostats get better, the smart thermostat is in fact the thermostat of tomorrow. There shall come a time when all there will be is smart thermostats even available on the market. It also would not surprise or shock the hell out of me if someday they actually may ban all other kinds of thermostats and make it illegal to use anything but a smart thermostat! That sounds a bit far-fetched and almost comical I know, but you never do actually know if some crazy stuff like that may happen someday just to make the smart thermostat be the only thing that can be used. Really it would be a good thing because I think everyone should have a smart thermostat to make their lives a lot easier and to save money on the monthly energy bills all together! That is my personal honest thought on it all anyway!

I can remember back in the day I used to go to a mall where I was growing up and there were these huge fountains where everyone used to throw pennies into to make a wish. One time I remember that somehow some pennies had got into the heating and air conditioning system’s air vents which were in the ground right by the fountains! They had to call some local heating and air conditioning company to send out a team of certified heating and air conditioning specialists to take the air vents apart and get the pennies out of there before it damaged the commercial heating and air conditioning system unit they had in the mall.
