I am going to bite the bullet soon and get a temporary tooth where my molar was pulled out almost two years ago.

It is the second to last molar, and although it is way in the back, you can still see the void when I make a big smile.

I don’t want to stop smiling, despite the fact that I also don’t want to look like an old pirate, so I am going to go get a temporary tooth put in till I can afford to buy a real implant. I don’t know what implants cost, however they aren’t cheap as my Heating and Air Conditioning tech acquaintance told me. I know she spent like $2K for an implant, which is way out of my price range right now with my money all locked in this Heating and Air Conditioning technology stock. I could wait another year or two however if I keep waiting I’ll never get one and will be a single toothless lady. My dad, who was also a heating dealer, had the same tooth missing although he was also married and it didn’t matter to him. But being single is a different story and missing a tooth could be a red flag to a potentially nice guy. I will go to the new business and ask him where he got his work done, and hopefully my Heating and Air Conditioning worker savings will be enough to cover it down the road if it isn’t way out of my league. I just don’t want to be worried about smiling and scaring people away because I look like a homeless man or something.

I decided almost 20 years ago to make a major change in my life and switch from working for money to chasing a dream of doing standup comedy.

I was an engineer for about seven years, and despite the fact that I was making lots of money, there was a pervasive emptiness that ran through my heart and told me there was something more to life than just getting by.

I had to make a lot of sacrifices to make this change, however looking back on it now almost 20 years later I can truly say that I am more pleased with life. Heating and Air Conditioning repairs, namely a/c repairs, pays my bills with just 15 hours of work each week, which allows me ample time to work on music in my band after switching from comedy a couple years back. If you have some kind of passion that you are suppressing I promise you that it will haunt you later in life if you don’t pursue it somehow. My cooling friend is old now and told me she regrets every day that she didn’t become a musician and just kept working in the Heating and Air Conditioning repair world for much too long. You don’t have to do something forever just because you have done it forever, and it is fear that usually traps us in a smaller life than we could be living. Go for it so you’re not regretting life like my Heating and Air Conditioning worker did when she retired, spending her whole life working on air conditionings and boilers instead of playing music for a bunch of excited people.

Today is a sunny orange day outside however things are going to change this weekend.

We have a cold front pushing through and the temps are going to plummet and the skies are going to turn gray for a while with some big storms coming by.

That means we won’t be able to play music on the streets like I was hoping for, however we need the rain so I have to let Mother Nature do her thing. The rain will water all of the crops and clean up all of our streets again and we welcome it. Cooling down this weekend is going to make us run our electric boiler again, something that hasn’t been run for months now. That is good with me because it has been getting pretty hot out and my energy has been waning a bit since then. My a/c has been running for the past couple of weeks however it is going to get a break, and give me a chance to clean the HEPA filter once more. I don’t remember the exact time I cleaned it last despite the fact that I am sure that it needs to be cleaned again, as we have three cats and their fur can truly fly around the flat and clog up the filters. I have a HEPA filtered vacuum cleaner, however it doesn’t grab the dust in the air unless it settles on the radiant floors that we had installed a few years back. I am going to grab some breakfast now and I’ll see you on the flip side of it.

The properties I manage for my sister in the States bring in a whopping $340 a month in income for me, however the way that I live that money goes a long way.

That really pays for all of my food for the month, so then I’m just left with rent and some spending money. I make some each month teaching yoga and volleyball and those two cost money along with the bills, so then all that is left is the $730 for rent. Things will change in five years though when the SS money kicks in from Heating and Air Conditioning system work over the years. I’ll get $1000 a month from that soon and then I’m on simple street. I’m a bit late on the rent this month because the local business is behind on paying the Heating and Air Conditioning techs because she is waiting for a big check, then she felt terrible though and is giving most people a week off paid in full, so we are all good with being late on paying our rents this month. The owner of this building owns a local business nearby and we are working on her air conditioning system and she knows that we will be late this month with rent however at least she is getting some ice cold a/c soon. Today is Friday and by Sunday we will have her temperature control system all set up and she and her shoppers will be sitting in cold air pretty soon. The weather is heating up a lot so I am sure she is going to be excited to have a working Heating and Air Conditioning system again.

I have my batteries charging for my amp because last night they died on us while playing our music.

I had them fully charged, or so I thought, but then I realized that my cats accidentally turned on the power to the amp and that subsequently drained the batteries some. One of the cats jumped up on the amp and its foot hit the toggle power switch and turned on the amp. I didn’t think it would drain the battery but if it was on all night I’m sure it didn’t help matters. So today I’m charging it while my air conditioner keeps me cool in the flat. It is a hot one today and the heat is starting to creep in as summer is going to be here in just 19 more days. June through September will require cold a/c all day and that is why I am going to get my climate control system checked out and serviced soon. Usually though, by the end of August the weather is getting ready to cool down for the fall season, so we really won’t need any air con in September, or at least after the middle of the month. It will be a fun summer and my one friend Laura is going to stay here for part of it while she visits our town and decides if she wants to move here. She works in the HVAC technology sector and is considering opening a local business here to sell her space heating systems and smart thermostats. I hope she moves here because she is a great friend from way back.

My buddy is coming over later to talk about this company that we are invested in.

He has 50K shares and I want to have 20K of them myself before the end of the summer.

This company is in a dormant stage that has lasted for a long time, but soon that dormancy will end and this thing will fly like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. If I can accumulate 20K shares then when it hits its target price of $10 a share I will be sitting pretty. It may take five years but my HVAC rep friend told me that time goes by and to just keep holding the local business shares. Well, actually it isn’t a local business here but not too far away, and when they start selling them we will be the first to know. Right now the stock is sitting at a mere 25 cents a share, which is a perfect time to buy and gather more before it takes off and everyone and their brother starts buying in. Last year when I finished a big HVAC system repair job I bought 10K shares, but it kept going down and my mood went down as well. I wanted to sell it all a few months ago when it went down to 15 cents a share, but luckily my HVAC tech friend talked me out of that and got me to buy even more. Now I have just over 16 thousand shares and am trying to acquire about 4000 more with my heating and cooling repair money.

I was talking about my lifestyle and how it has changed.

The simplicity of life can give you a freedom back that you had when you were a little child and make you feel light and free like you once felt.

Life can get too complicated with all of the responsibilities we put on our plates and take away from the joy we once felt. Some of my friends have such a busy life that I have to schedule weeks in advance if I want to hang out with them for an hour or so. Most of them own local businesses and have kids, which takes up almost all of their free time, kind of like my Heating and Air Conditioning friend who I haven’t seen in several years. She told me she only has an hour each day free to herself from 10pm till she goes to sleep, so that explains why we never get to hang out anymore. I was running an Heating and Air Conditioning company myself back then and was quite busy with heating and cooling repairs, and so I decided I wanted a change and made my life much simpler in the process. It took me several years to get out of debt and to simplify my life, however now that I did it I feel so free and light. I still work some for the new business in town, however only part time, and I get to spend the rest of my time in the naturally temperature controlled beach that is close to my flat. Life is great if you work on it.

I have to do some recon later on my bike for our band.

• We like to play in this one spot with great acoustics but sometimes the street sellers are there and they get mad when we play there.

But my bandmate told me they aren’t there on weekends because the cops told them they can’t sell there, so if that is true then we may find ourselves playing there this evening. We like that spot because it gets a lot of foot traffic and the acoustics are great with the big stone walls on three sides of us. Air conditioning and heating are not needed there because it gets a good breeze from the sea in the summer but in the winter it heats up because the sun hits that area all day and makes the ground feel like radiant heated floors. That is pretty much what it is though with the sun heating up the stone walkways, which then heat up the whole area with its radiative heating properties. So today before my bandmate arrives, just before he arrives, I will ride my bike down there and scope out the scene. If someone is there though then we play in this climate controlled beach bar located on my favorite beach in town called Fragata Beach. It is a small beach right next to the natural radiant heated floor cathedral spot where we play with the good acoustics, if you are bored Google it to see where we are and if you travel to the Spanish coast you should stop by here and maybe you’ll hear us playing with my local contractor friend. I bought a package of 10,000 plays for our SoundCloud song just to see if this service really works, and if so how the listeners feel about our newest song.

I’m not sure how the 10K plays works, if people actually listen to it, or what will happen but I want to try it out.

It set me back $33 and that is the best way to know how the service works. I’m considering that money gone but it isn’t a big investment for me and if it doesn’t work then so be it, they can keep my cash. HVAC cooling system repairs is how I got that money and it basically was an hour of my time doing duct cleaning or heating and cooling equipment service calls. If this service from the promotion company does work though then we will buy 10K plays each month to keep pushing us forward with our band and web presence. My local contractor friend told me about this when we were working in the HVAC company a few months ago and he said it works great for his band. If it works for us then it will help us with getting more gigs because all of the plays and followers make us look more legit. Playing in air conditioned clubs and heated ski lodges would be a dream come true for me but only when our music is ready for it. Until then, we will just keep practicing 150 hours a year like we have been, which is three hours a week of playing in climate controlled dive bars.

I am toughing it out this morning and finishing my work for the day.

Well, I will still have another hour of work to do but that is going to be easy work as I will just be doing some reading.

I will teach my friend later and then I will make some magic in our band later when we play at the epic church by the sea. I’m listening to our song By The Sea and making sure it is ready for the onslaught of plays it is going to get later this week. This local contractor told me to buy 10K plays for my song, as he did for his HVAC business song, which ended up getting millions of plays once people shared it with others. I just want to get our song out to others because I feel that it is a good song and can make people happy. The HVAC contractor told me to get on Spotify but I want to get more money from the heating and cooling work I do before we spend money on that site. We just have our stuff on a local music site now, which is fine with me, because it is a good site where I can put our songs on for free. If I get more work at the local business doing duct cleaning then I will sink more money into putting our music out there on other sites. I’m not sure what it costs to do that but I just need to wait because my money is running thin. See ya later!
